BONTAR contains 3% of nitrogen (N) in the ammonium form, 9% of phosphorus (P₂O₅) soluble in mineral acids, 5% of phosphorus (P₂O₅) soluble in neutral ammonium citrate solution and in water, 2,5% of phosphorus (P₂O₅) soluble in water, 15% of potassium (K2O) soluble in water, 5% of calcium (CaO) soluble in water, 4% of magnesium (MgO) soluble in water, 30% of sulphur (SO3) soluble in water.
BONTAR is a compound inorganic fertilizer, produced on the basis of partially decomposed soft phosphorites with the addition of sulphates - potassium sulphate, ammonium sulphate and magnesium sulphate.
It is recommended for use on plants sensitive to chlorine, such as potatoes, hops, tobacco, for the fertilization of fruit trees and bushes, and also for all vegetables that do not tolerate high concentrations of chlorine all throughout the vegetation period, i.e. beans, peas, onions, chicory, cucumber and lettuce.
In the cultivation of edible potatoes the fertilizer can be used both prior to sowing and as top dressing with one of the crop care treatments. On vegetable plantations the fertilizer should be mixed with the soil up to a depth of approx. 10 cm.
Most of the vegetables grown in field conditions are sensitive to chlorine in the initial growth period, during the stage of germination and seedling. Therefore this fertilizer is recommended for application both before the sowing of seeds, the planting of seedlings and during the early top dressing fertilization.
In orchards and tree nurseries the fertilizer should be distributed evenly around the tree or bush. In order for this treatment to be effective it is necessary to mix the fertilizer with soil or to water the plantation.
|Cultivated plants||Fertilizer dosage
Depending on the content of phosphorus and potassium in the soil (kg/ha)
|fruit trees and bushes||200-400|
|peas and beans||300-800|
