Properties

Garden 2001 for strawberries and raspberries contains: 9% of total nitrogen (N) (including: 4% of nitrogen (N) in the ammonium form and 5% of nitrogen (N) in the amide form), 9% of phosphorus (P₂O₅) soluble in mineral acids, 5% of phosphorus (P₂O₅) soluble in neutral ammonium citrate solution and in water, 2,5% of phosphorus (P₂O₅) soluble in water, 15% of potassium (K2O) soluble in water, 5% of calcium (CaO) soluble in water, 2% of total magnesium (MgO), 26% of sulphur (SO3) soluble in water, and the following micro-nutrients (total content): 0,02% of boron (B), 0,05% of copper (Cu), 0,2% of iron (Fe), 0,05% of manganese (Mn), 0,005% of molybdenum (Mo) and 0,03% of zinc (Zn).

Garden 2001 for strawberries and raspberries is produced on the basis of: ammonium sulfate, urea, partially decomposed phosphorites, potassium sulfate, magnesium sulfate and micro-nutrients.

Its main advantages include:

  • Low chlorine content - an essential factor in the case of fruits and vegetables, positively affecting their quality
  • Optimally selected set of macro-nutrients and micro-nutrients,
  • High degree of utilization of the nitrogen contained in the fertilizer both in the slow-release and fast-release form (urea and ammonium sulphate)
  • Contains magnesium in the form of magnesium sulphate.

Potassium sulphate - improves the quality of high-quality crops and their yields, including in particular fruits, vegetables, tobacco, as well as ornamental plants, enhances the absorption of phosphorus and micro-nutrients, increases resistance to drought, frost, insects, and disease.
Magnesium sulfate - has a beneficial effect on the size and coloring of the fruits, gives them aroma and reduces the excessive accumulation of nitrates, participates in the production of vitamin A, prevents premature falling of leaves and leaf mottling.
Calcium  - increases the size of the fruits, improves their firmness, coloring and storage properties, reduces the transport sensitivity of fruits, reduces storage diseases i.e. bitter pit or blossom-end rot in tomatoes.

Purpose

Garden 2001 for strawberries and raspberries is a specialized horticultural fertilizer intended for the fertilization of strawberries, raspberries, fruit trees and bushes as well as vegetables.

Principles of application

Total dosage of the fertilizer Garden 2001 for strawberries and raspberries [g/m2]

Crop:
Strawberry plantation
Depending on the content of nitrogen and potassium in the soil
high medium low
before establishment 35 45 55
first year of cultivation 30 40 50
subsequent years of cultivation 25 35 45

When fertilizing a fruit producing strawberry plantation, the dosage should be divided into two parts: 2/3 of the planned dosage should be applied in the early spring, while the remaining 1/3 after the fruit harvest, but no later than at the beginning of August. Spring fertilization ensures adequate growth of the root system (phosphorus), vegetative growth of plants (nitrogen), regulation of the water management, and enables the absorption of nutrients in the subsequent phases of plant growth (potassium). Fertilization after the harvest should be carried out relatively quickly, as it is the main factor determining the size of the yield in the following year.

Fertilization of raspberries and berry bushes

It is recommended that the fertilizer is applied once, in a radius slightly greater than the tree crown.

Where possible it should be mixed with the soil and watered.

Crop Depending on the content of nitrogen and potassium in the soil
high medium low
raspberry plantations 50 60 70
black currant and gooseberry plantations 45 55 65

With individual berry bushes (black currants, gooseberry, bilberry) the doses are as follows: 60-80 g during planting, 80-120 g in the next year, and 120-150 g in the subsequent years.

Fertilization of fruit trees

It is recommended that the fertilizer is applied once, in a radius slightly greater than the tree crown. Where possible it should be mixed with the soil and watered.

Crop:
All orchard types
W zależności od zawartości azotu i potasu w glebie
high medium low
young orchards (1 - 3 years) 35 45 55
fruiting orchards (from 4 years) 40 50 60

With individual fruit trees the doses for each tree are as follows: 100-150 g under a young fruit tree (1-3 years) and 300-400 g under an older tree fruit (4 years and more).

Fertilization of vegetables

The fertilizer should be applied on the entire cultivation area, mixing it with the soil. In top dressing fertilization do not apply the fertilizer on wet leaves.
